Mayor's first proclamation a healthy one

New Greenwood Mayor Welborn Adams’ first official proclamation was Monday as he recognized March’s National Nutrition Month. Joining him at the proclamation signing was Kelley Dow, a registered and licensed dietitian from Self Regional Healthcare.  Adams, who tries to eat a banana every day and is a runner, said he understands the importance of nutrition and exercise in building healthy communities. Self Regional is planning activities during March, including school events and a community bike/run/walk scheduled for March 7 at Self Regional.
